Are Diwata Candles non-toxic?

Yes. Our candles are lovingly made from soy wax and premium blends of both fragrance and essential oils that can be used to create personal care items. Our candles do not contain lead or phthalates.

Are Diwata Candles Pet Friendly?

Animals, especially dogs, are sensitive to smells - especially those with respiratory issues. We have dogs and they are comfortable with our candles. But, this may not be the same for you. So while our products our non-toxic, we encourage you to observe your pet and practice caution. Light up and observe.

Do Diwata Candles contain lead?

No. Decades ago, lead was a component used in candle wicks. But this has since been phased out since around the 1970s.

How many hours will the candles last?

Our 120ml (4oz) candles typically burn for around 20-25 hours. The 250 oz (8oz) goes for 40-45 hours at least.

Is there an expiry date for the candles?

No. But we recommend burning your candle within a year of receiving this. The candle scent can dissipate with time and due to your environmental factors, especially, if you do not use a lid to cover it.

Can I amend and cancel my order?

Unfortunately we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed. This will allow us to pack your orders efficiently and to minimize errors. It is advisable to check your order before placing it.

I have a discount code, how can I use it?

How will I know if my order is confirmed?

After you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from us to confirm that your orders have been received. However, do note that orders will only be shipped when your credit card payment has been approved and billing and delivery address is verified. Alternatively, you may check the status of your order in “My Account” if you are a registered user.

I have problems adding items to my shopping cart?

You will be able to add the items as long as it is available. There could be an instance where the item is in someone else’s shopping cart hence the status of the items is reflected as “Temporarily Unavailable”.
